Donate a document

Do you have old documents or photographs that you would like to be preserved for future generations to see? If you donate them to Northamptonshire Archives, they will benefit the public and be kept safe for researchers and students to make use of.

Donating to our collections

Not every document will be of interest to us, so before you bring anything in, please complete our enquiry form and describe your items as best as you can. Our collections team will assess whether they are of historical interest to us and will get in touch with you. The kind of things that may be of interest include:

  • parish records
  • non-conformist records
  • business records and school records

We cannot accept any items brought in without a prior appointment, so please do not bring any items to the Northamptonshire Record Office without contacting us first.
