  • marriage and civil partnership registrations

Ceremony room

Our ceremony room is in the Guildhall, just a few minutes' walk away.

Northampton ceremony room

The ceremony room can accommodate seating for up to 35 guests, with a maximum room capacity of 50.

Audio facilities

A 30 pin iPhone will dock with our CD player. The CD player also has an AUX output option and 3.5mm jack to jack cable – 5 metres in length – to enable iPods and mobile devices to connect to our music system.

We are currently upgrading our music player system and we will slowly introduce a new speaker system. This will not have a CD player facility, but will have USB (for memory sticks only, formatted as FAT32), AUX input option using our provided 5 metre long 3.5mm jack to jack cable, iPhone docking station for IPhone 5 models upwards and Bluetooth. Our CD players will be phased out by 30 May 2018.

Disabled access and special needs

Northampton Registration Office and its ceremony room are wheelchair accessible. If you have a special need you want to let us know about (such as a disability or interpreter), please contact us once you have booked your appointment.
