Northamptonshire Digital Enhancement

This European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) part-funded project offers grants and support to Northamptonshire based SMEs to help you make digital improvements to your business.

Delivered through the Northamptonshire Growth Hub, Northamptonshire County Council and the University of Northampton are working together to support SME digital growth and extend the impact of the Superfast Northamptonshire project.

Broadband Connection Vouchers - now open for applications

Connection Vouchers will match fund 50% of the cost of a business premises to upgrade to the superfast broadband network,getting you internet connection speeds of 30Mbps or more. They are available for businesses in areas which are not covered by the Superfast Northamptonshire project or commercial plans with the aim of improving small businesses' capabilities and efficiencies.

300 connection vouchers are available up to a value of £2,500 each.

Digital Improvement Grants

  • Now open for applications (round 1 closing date: 29 September 2017)

Digital Improvement Grants are now available to match up to 50% of the costs of innovative digital business improvement projects up to £5,000. Northamptonshire-based SMEs can apply for the funding to implement a digital enhancement to their business, such as building a website, setting up a payment system, upgrading accounting software, developing a new product or application, improving customer services tracking, implementing digital marketing, etc.

Am I eligible?

  • Northamptonshire based company
  • Small to Medium sized enterprise (employ fewer than 250 people)
  • Non-retail business
  • Have an idea of how new technologies and capabilities will improve your business

Digital Adviser and Training Opportunities

A specialist Digital Adviser from Northamptonshire Growth Hub will soon be available to help your business with one on one, tailored advice. Following a diagnostic review of your business, they will help you to create an action plan to pinpoint which digital capabilities could improve your business processes and bottom line, and help you get up and running.

The Growth Hub will also be running a programme of digitally focussed, free training courses to help you make the most of technologies available to you.
