Strategic Economic Plan

Following Lord Heseltine's review in March 2013 setting out the vision for local growth, Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) were asked to demonstrate that they were committed to the growth agenda, through the development of ambitious, multi-year Strategic Economic Plans as part of the Growth Deal.

Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership in partnership with Northamptonshire County Council developed the Strategic Economic Plan for Northamptonshire:

In July 2014, the government announced the first wave of Growth Deals. Northamptonshire has secured £32.2m confirmed and £35.1 provisional funding for local projects for the period 2015 to 2017 and beyond.
