Grants
If you have a physical or sensory disability and are in post-16 education, you can apply to The Snowdon Trust for help with additional disability-related costs that are not fully provided for you from available statutory funding.

You can apply for help with funding such things as:
• Human help – sign language interpreters and people to take notes
• Computer equipment
• Adapted or additional accommodation
• Travel costs
• Mobility equipment
• Other costs which relate solely to disability

The Snowdon Trust will not usually meet expenses that have to be borne by all students, such as tuition fees or standard living and accommodation costs (but will occasionally help with tuition fees if a student can provide justification that their need is directly related to their disability).

Go to their website for more information and to complete an application.

Scholarships

The Snowdon Scholarship programme aims to give a small number of exceptionally talented disabled people an opportunity to achieve their potential. Successful applicants will receive financial support and encouragement to help them excel in a Masters degree course that will make a difference to both their own futures and to the lives of others.
