Northamptonshire Emergency Services Cadets (NESC)

Service description:
The Emergency Services Cadets deliver a combined emergency services curriculum allowing our young people to develop skills across our Emergency Services as well as important social and life skills.

Cadets are fast becoming an important part of the policing and fire family, offering a key link to our younger members of the community.

The Emergency Services Cadets now have schemes based in:
• Wellingborough
• Kettering
• Daventry
• Towcester
• Northampton

Meetings

Monday - Kettering, Daventry and Towcester
Tuesday - Wellingborough
Thursday - Northampton

Emergency Services Cadets meet one night a week to learn about the Police service, Fire Service, first aid skills as well as develop practical life skills and social skills. Cadets will also have the opportunity to complete a BTEC in Teamwork and Personal Development.

The cadet scheme is open to all young people aged 13-18.
