Service description:
Managed by Groundwork Northamptonshire (part of the Federation of Groundwork Trusts), the Green Patch is a 2.5-acre site in Kettering. Thanks to the work of volunteers over the years, the site now has a building, a disabled-access toilet, polytunnels, ducks and chickens, raised beds, compost, wildlife areas, beehives, a natural play area, a pond, an orchard, and a summer house.

The Green Patch is a friendly hub that supports various projects. These include after-school clubs (ASC) for mainstream and disabled children, employment programmes for young people and adults, alternative education, supported volunteering opportunities for adults.

The Green Patch hosts an after-school club, a school holiday club, and a Saturday club for 5-17s with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). The clubs are classed as a 'Short Breaks,' and are currently being commissioned by Northamptonshire County Council.
