Inpatient Unit (01536 452019)
The hospice has a 9-bedded adult inpatient unit that accepts referrals for patients aged 18 and over who live in North Northamptonshire, who have complex care needs, and who are suffering from a life-limiting illness when a cure is no longer possible. Short-stay admissions can often help patients return home with an improved quality-of-life. The inpatient unit also offers expert end-of-life care and support, as well as support for family and friends.

Clinical Nurse Specialists (01536 452004)
Palliative care clinical nurse specialists are registered nurses with specialist knowledge and qualifications in cancer and palliative care. They provide information and advice on pain control and symptoms, and also provide psychological support for patients. The nurses also spend time explaining the patient’s illness and its management, as well as planning future care.

Therapy Team (01536 452004)
Their therapy team is made up of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and a palliative neurology team. The three teams work together to ensure both inpatients and outpatients maintain a quality of life that allows them to live as independently as possible.
