Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity was formed in 2003 to brighten the lives of children who are living with serious or life-limiting illnesses, between the ages of 3-18, across the United Kingdom

Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity brightens up the lives of seriously ill children in the UK by granting wishes, granting hospital ward wishes, and organising outings and large-scale events for seriously ill children.

You will need to complete one of their application forms. They don’t do home visits so are able to assess your application quicker

You can expect to hear if they are able to grant the wish within 2 to 4 weeks of submitting the completed application (once medical consent has been received)

There is no waiting list for wishes

They include parents and siblings living in the family home on the wish experience.

Wish experiences range from meeting a celebrity, experience days out, owning something special, to be someone for the day. Rays of Sunshine can also grant wishes to go to selected destinations such as Disneyland or Lapland.
