Learning Disability England (LDE)* is a charity and membership organisation working to make life better for people with learning disabilities and their families.

Learning Disability England brings together people with learning disabilities, their families and friends and organisations

They do this by sharing ideas and working with members, their expertise make services stronger and society fairer.

They are a national organisation leading in housing, support and rights for people with learning disabilities.

• They offer independent advice to members, information and resources on housing, supported living and rights
• They campaign for better housing, support and rights for people with learning disabilities
• They host conferences and events
• They offer training and consultancy services
• They commission and conduct research
• They identify and assimilate good practice

They can help with most things about housing, support and rights for people with learning disabilities, including:

• Renting privately
• Family investment in housing
• Extra care
• Funding for housing
• Support options
• Welfare benefits
