Service description:
The Santander Foundation plays an important role in Santander UK's flagship community programme, The Discovery Project.

The aim of The Discovery Project is to help disadvantaged people have the confidence to make the most of their future. In this fast-paced world some find it hard to navigate the change and The Discovery Project aims to help everyone have equal access to the best society has to offer.

Grants can be used to support one or more of our three priorities:

• Explorer - Improving people's knowledge
Such as Money Management workshops helping disadvantaged people learn how to budget.

• Transformer - Improving skills and experience
For example, training to help socially isolated people develop skills to get back into work or volunteering opportunities for disadvantaged young people.

• Changemaker - Innovative solutions to social challenges
What about a new social networking program for visually impaired young people to access the internet?

Discovery Grants (of up to £5,000) are available to UK Registered Charities, Community Interest Companies and Credit Unions to fund small, local projects helping disadvantaged people.

Please visit the website for more information and how to apply.
