Service description:
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme open to education, training, youth and sport organisations across all sectors of lifelong learning, including school education, further and higher education, adult education and the youth sector.

It offers exciting opportunities for students, trainees, apprentices, pupils, adult learners, young people, volunteers, professors, teachers, trainers, youth workers and professionals of organisations active in the education, training and youth sector to study, work, volunteer, teach and train abroad in Europe. Participants receive financial support to help cover the costs of these activities.

The UK National Agency which manages the programme in the UK provides grant payments to UK organisations and institutions, which are responsible for arranging the mobility activities and for selecting and supporting the participants who then take part in these activities.

If you have a severe disability or exceptional special needs then you may be entitled to extra funding to cover associated costs on your Erasmus+ placement. Please contact your institution/organisation’s Erasmus+ co-ordinator for further details as they are responsible for ensuring all the necessary paperwork is completed and arrangements are made at the host institution/organisation to meet the needs of the participant.
