Service description:
The Walnuts School is an all age community residential special school and Children’s Home currently catering for pupils from Foundation to Year 14. All pupils are on the autistic spectrum or have social communication difficulties. There are 26 classes, each with a teacher and between two and five teaching assistants.

The school is divided into three departments each led by an Assistant Headteacher. The Lower School Department is based at Hertford Place, Bletchley; Middle School and most of the Upper School Department, together with the residential accommodation, are based at the main site in Hazeley, and the majority of our Post 16 students are based at Fenny Stratford, Bletchley.

The Walnuts Children’s Home has places for up to six young people on 52 week placements. There are also a number of places available for time limited, term time provision in order to bring about targeted improvements in behaviour and independence skills.
