Service description:
East Hunsbury Primary School is a large and exciting Primary School with a Special Unit for pupils with Significant Learning Difficulties. Their hardworking and enthusiastic team are committed to both excellence and enjoyment. They want to foster an enthusiasm for learning that remains throughout life while equipping pupils with the physical, emotional, social and intellectual skills they need to be happy and successful.

Their Gold Artsmark, Healthy Schools Award, Eco Award, Inclusion Quality Mark, Sing Up Award and Effective Early Learning Award bear testimony to their commitment to develop the whole child and discover and encourage pupil’s talents across and beyond the curriculum.

They want all pupils at our school to experience success and achieve their potential in a caring, inclusive community. A community, in which, everyone feels confident, valued and able to contribute. A community, in which, parents are invited to work closely in partnership. A community, in which, diversity is embraced and celebrated. A community, in which people can all learn, laugh and celebrate together.

This school has a SEN Unit Provision providing education, support and facilities for 35 children with statements/EHC plans. The provision caters for pupils with significant to severe learning difficulties.
