Service description:
Dimensions (UK) Ltd is a non-profit organisation that provides a range of services for people with learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our nearest services are available across the border in Peterborough.

Dimensions provide the following services in the London and East region:

Supported living
Most of Dimensions' support is delivered through supported living services. Everyone has different needs so the amount of support offered varies – some people have 24 hour support, others may need only a few hours a day. Dimensions may provide the support in a property owned by others, or act as the landlord themselves.

Outreach (domiciliary care)
Dimensions’ outreach services are usually for people who live in their own homes and need support to remain independent. Sometimes known as domiciliary care or floating support, outreach provides flexible and tailored support for people with ASD or learning disabilities.

Residential care homes
Most services provided by Dimensions are based on supporting people to live in their own home (supported living). For those people where this may not be an option, Dimensions also run care homes across the country, which are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Positive behaviour support
The Dimensions Behaviour Support team focuses on developing person-centred strategies that help people to lead full lives in the community and avoid more costly interventions. They work closely with relatives and support teams, providing hands on training to ensure they have the skills they need to implement a person’s behaviour support programme.

REAL Focus
An intensive programme of Positive Behaviour Support to help children and young people with ASD or Asperger’s Syndrome develop their life skills and independence.

With tenants living in a mix of houses, flats, and registered care homes across England and Wales, Dimensions is a specialist in housing for people with learning disabilities and ASD.

Autism Friendly Cinema Screenings
Dimensions have organised Autism Friendly Screenings in partnership with Cineworld, ODEON, Showcase and Vue cinemas. Every month, participating cinemas show a different film from a selection of new releases and classics. Autism friendly screenings have lower lighting, lower sound volume, and no trailers. You'll be able to take your own food and drinks, and you'll be able to move around the cinema if you like.
