Parents and Carers

Youth Works’ Counselling for parents and carers provides an opportunity to talk about problems and feelings in a confidential environment. Their counsellors are trained to listen with empathy, to help clients deal with any negative thoughts and feelings, and to provide guidance in resolving problems. Counsellors use a range of approaches, including person-centred counselling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

Systemic Family Therapy is a 10-week programme aimed at families who will benefit from working through issues together in a confidential/therapeutic environment. It focuses not only on individuals in the family but the relationships and interactions between the family members.

Please note, dependent on individual circumstances, some of these interventions are free whilst others will incur a charge.

Children and young people
