Kettering Borough Training (KBT) provide information, advice and guidance on learning and work to help support individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.

Study Programme

This programme provides young people the opportunity to gain the kind of qualifications and experience that employers are seeking. The programme offers a number of qualifications,from Functional Skills in Maths and English to Level 1 Certificates in Customer Service, Preparing for Employment and Personal and Social Development. Alongside this there will be the opportunity to take part in work experience to further enhance the opportunity to gain work, further education or an apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships

KBT provide a number of apprenticeships such as business administration, customer service, health and social care, engineering, fabrication, welding, print and more. Apprenticeships provide the opportunity to get paid work while you learn, with both on the job training and technical training, you can gain industry recognised qualifications at Intermediate Level with the opportunity to progress to the Advanced level.
