Strength and difficulties questionnaire

This is a brief behavioural screening questionnaire about 2-17 year olds. It is used for looked after children and young people and is one way in which a response to their particular emotional wellbeing and mental health needs can be prompted and delivered.

The strength and difficulties questionnaire should be used if you have concerns about a child’s educational attainment. It measures emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactivity, peer problems and pro-social behaviour.
