Service description:
Contact a Family provides support, advice and information for families with disabled children, no matter what their condition or disability.

In the East Midlands, we carry out our service across through a team of project workers. Working at a local and regional level, we have up-to-date information on local services and support for families.

Our East Midlands team offers:

help for families to find out what's available locally
details of local parent support groups
guidance for support groups and forums to help them to reach and involve parents
training for children's centres to help them reach and involve families with disabled children
resources for professionals to help them point families to the right local services.
The team covers the whole of the East Midlands area including: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
