Service description:
Advocacy Northamptonshire provide a short-term issue based advocacy service, providing instructive advocacy to disabled people.

Advocacy Northamptonshire works with:

Adults with learning difficulties and sensory/physical impairments.
Users/survivors of the mental health system.
People dependent on drugs and alcohol.
People living with HIV/AIDS.
Age groups covered: 16+

The service covers the whole of Northamptonshire.

Eligibility criteria: People with a disability who are able to instruct.
Providing advocacy for the people of Northants by providing a voice to support people with physical and sensory impairments, mental health problems, and learning disabilities. Assistance is available to help people in accessing and gaining information to enable them to have informed choice.
Objectives:
Support service for all disabled people to enable them to speak for themselves, and provide a voice for those unable to speak for themselves, and have rights protected.
