About Us
Citizens Advice Daventry and District is a partnership agency comprising three departments – Citizens Advice Bureau, Welfare Rights and DIAL. Citizens Advice Daventry and District is an independent charity and a company limited by guarantee, providing free and impartial advice, support and information to the citizens of Daventry and the surrounding rural area.

Citizens Advice Daventry and District is a member of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux (Citizens Advice) and DIAL UK. The service is a quality marked General Help Point of the Community Legal Service with Casework in Welfare Benefits.

Our Aims
The Aims of Citizens Advice Daventry and District are:

- To provide the advice people need for the problems they face and to improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives.

- To provide advice and information on welfare benefits to assist clients to claim these benefits by helping to fill in forms, liaison with relevant authorities and, when necessary, arranging representation at appeal tribunals.

- To provide information, advice and practical support for disabled persons and their carers.

Our Service
Our service is provided free at the point of delivery and makes responsible use of the experience so gained. This includes the provision of front line diagnostic advice with referral to specialist agencies where appropriate.

The three departments of Citizens Advice Daventry and District provide a combination of client drop-in and appointment availability, a telephone service including Minicom, Email, Fax and Website, supported by home visits as appropriate.
