My name is Val Taylor and I am an integrative therapist - to best meet your needs I can draw on a wide range of counselling techniques, experiences and skills according to your personal situation.

My counselling qualifications include:
• Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Counselling
• Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling
• Human Nutrition (Open University)
• Training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
• Visualisation and Relaxation Techniques
• Couples counselling

Whether you are an individual or a couple, a teenager or an adult, counselling with First Step can help you get your life back on track. I can help you with all kinds of emotional and psychological issues, from weight disorders to depression and from anxiety to anger management.
