Service description:
The service aims to provide impartial, up to date, evidence based dietetic treatment and advice to patients in Northamptonshire. The service has highly specialist dieticians in the fields of renal, paediatrics, diabetes, mental health, oncology, nutritional support and obesity. The service is also very flexible and is able to provide evening sessions where appropriate.
Our registered dieticians can offer the following services:
-Assessing nutritional requirements
-Devising, implementing and monitoring individual care treatment and plans.
-Advising on prescribing
-Training and educating patients, carers and healthcare professionals
-All patients are eligible to be referred to the service if they are registered with a Northamptonshire GP.
