What is the toy library?
Somewhere you can borrow a variety of toys, games and equipment, for all ages from birth to 16 years for a small fee.

What can I borrow?
Alongside standard toys we have puzzles, games, educational toys, ICT resources, electrical toys, musical instruments, construction toys, large outdoor play equipment, special needs toys, sports equipment, inflatables, dressing-up, baby equipment (walkers, play mats, toys) and much more.

What are the benefits of toy library?
Encourages and teaches children about sharing. It’s ‘green’ – reuse toys, reduce landfill, and save on toy storage space. Play with toys that some families may not be able to afford. Try before you buy, or change toys every week for more varied stimulation.

The service has provided a huge range of toys and equipment such as prams and sitting aids for babies, along with specialist toys for children with disabilities, of which many families or carers would not be able to buy.
