Our air-conditioned fitness suite is fitted with an extensive range of state-of-the-art cardiovascular and resistance equipment, including the revolutionary Power Plates, Trixter Bikes and SynrgyS. Our cardio enables you to watch TV, browse the web or explore courses from around the world. You can create an account which allows you to monitor your progress and design programmes that you want to do our gym is IFI (Inclusive Fitness Initiative) accredited.

Our Gym is fully staffed and we are able to advise on the use of gym equipment, fitness programmes and fitness assessment. However, we are unable to offer a one to one support service for particular needs. If you do require one to one support you will be expected to attend with a carer or friend/family member who can support you.

If you would like to join the scheme and believe you are eligible then please contact your GP or Practice Nurse and ask about being referred onto the programme at the Nene Centre. You will need to meet certain criteria for the referral. When you approach your GP, this is known as an Activity on Referral Scheme.

You can access the Inclusive Fitness Initiative Gym without a referral. For more information please contact the centre.
