Service description:
Youth clubs give young people a low-cost place to go (outside of school), and offer them a sense of belonging. Activities and support from club-leaders allow young people to learn new skills, build their confidence, and have fun.

Action for Children are delighted to have been commissioned by Northamptonshire County Council to provide this service for children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs.

The club is open to children and young people with mild to moderate disabilities, aged 11-18 years (during term-time only).

Activities are planned to reflect a person-centred approach. Children and young people using the club help plan and evaluate the activities on offer. Activities usually involve a level of social education, plus leisure opportunities such as play and relaxation.

To book a place, please contact Tracey Hathaway on 01327 705063 or Chris Batchelor on 07834 730094.
