Service description:
Our music classes for pre-school children are both fun and educational and cover a wide variety of topics and learning. The classes are planned by an experienced music teacher with the emphasis being on having fun. Each lesson includes; action songs, nursery rhymes, original songs, rhythm, melody, dynamics, spoken rhyme, musical movement and music appreciation.

Each lesson is structured with some elements being repeated from week to week such as the hello & goodbye songs, the Mini Minstrels song as well as the colours, shapes or clock song so that the children become familiar with the pieces.

Each week we have a fun game to fit in with the theme, which the children really enjoy. We have made big pictures, built Santa's Chimney with our lovely colourful bricks, played at dinosaur stomping with the footprints and made vegetable soup to name but a few, there are so many more!

Our classes are suitable for children aged 6 months to 4 years and each class lasts about 45 minutes. The topics and themes follow many of the goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage such as; personal, social and emotional development, communication & language, knowledge and understanding of the world, physical development and creative development.
