Service description:
Welford Mixed Hockey Club was set up in 1988 by a couple of local people who wanted a team to play for. The team used to practice on the local playing fields and moved up to Welford Sportsfield a couple of years later. The team have played in Northants Mixed Hockey League since 1989 and have had numerous successes in the league and cup over the past 20 years. We now have over 75 members and have a successful mixed team; a large Badgers team who have won the local Badgers league for 5 years running; and numerous U11 and U9 teams who compete in local tournaments.

Home Pitch - Our homeptich for Adults and Badgers is Welland Park School in Market Harborough.

Welford train at Cold Ashby Playing fields on Astro turf. Training times are;

Monday 7-8, U9s (lowest age is 5)

Monday 8-9, Adults (mixed)

Thursday 7-8, U11s

Thursday 8-9, Badgers (U16)

We have numerous qualified coaches who have their first aid and CRB checks.

Membership costs vary depending on full or social membership. Full adult for the year is £25 and childrens membership is £10
