Service description:
CAN YP team offer a specialist service for young people aged 11 -19 who are experiencing issues with drugs and /or alcohol. This can be as a result of their problematic or dependant use or their parents/carers. We are a CONFIDENTIAL and free service. We offer a county wide service and will aim to meet young people in suitable venues near to where they live.

We offer one to one, care planned work with individuals as well as offering some targeted educational sessions for young people from vulnerable groups.

As part of our team we have two youth offending drug and alcohol workers who offer support to young people involved in the criminal justice system. We also have an exploitation worker who offers one to one support for young people who are at risk of or being exploited within the sex industry. We also deliver awareness raising educational sessions for vulnerable groups focusing on exploitation, grooming and keeping safe etc.

We take referrals from parents/carers/ young people or other professionals.
