Superseded minerals and waste plans

The Northamptonshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan (MWLP) update was adopted in July 2017.  All minerals and waste plans produced previously, except the Development and Implementation Principles SPD, have been superseded by this plan.

The MWLP update replaces the Minerals and Waste Local Plan (MWLP) (partial review) document adopted in 2014. This document brought together the separate elements of the Minerals and Waste Development Framework (MWDF) into one combined Local Plan and extended the plan period to 2031.

Prior to the adoption of the MWLP (partial review) document, the MWDF provided a collection of development plans for minerals and waste in the county. It comprised the following plans:
