​The Northamptonshire Libraries e-book service provided through Borrow Box is available to both full and virtual members. 

You can apply for virtual library membership online or visit your local library to become a full member.​

  • e-books are free to download
  • You can download a maximum of 5 e-books at a time for up to 3 weeks
  • No overdue items as your loan will expire after 3 weeks

Select Northamptonshire Libraries and enter your library card number (without any D preceding the number) and your PIN. If you do not know or have forgotten your PIN number please contact your nearest library. You will also need to enter an email address.

The BorrowBox service can also be used on a browser via the BorrowBox Gateway

Library staff cannot advise on technical matters relating to downloading e-books to devices. Please refer to BorrowBox support support@bolindadigital.com

Visit the BorrowBox website for help with downloading the BorrowBox app to either Amazon Fire or Kindle Fire devices. Click on “Available on Amazon/fire” logos at the bottom of the page, select device for step-by-step instructions about installing.
