The Northamptonshire Libraries e-newspaper service is provided through Pressreader and is available to both full and virtual members.

You can apply for a virtual library membership online or visit your local library to become a full member.​

To log-in go to Pressreader:

  • Click on sign-in
  • Choose library card option
  • Search for Northamptonshire Libraries in the search box
  • Enter your library card number (with preceding D before the number) and 4 digit PIN number

​You can also use your library card to gain free remote access to digitised copies of the complete editions of the Times from 1785 to 2012 through the Times Digital Archive; and also to the complete editions of the Guardian (1821 to 2003) and the Observer (1791 to 2003) through the Historical Guardian and Observer Digital Archive.

Visit your local library to access millions of pages from local, regional and national newspapers, from the 18th Century onwards through the British Newspaper Archive. Please note that due to licensing requirements the British Newspaper Archive can only be viewed in libraries; you will also need to register when you first use the archive.
