Northamptonshire County Council operates a number of permit schemes across the county which only allow vehicles displaying the relevant parking permits to park in a designated bay or zone.
Please direct applications for Northampton Town Centre properties to Northampton Borough Council who are responsible for the administration of the scheme within the Town Centre.
How to apply
Please read the following terms and conditions to ensure you qualify before you apply:
Apply and pay for a new permit or to renew a permit online. Payment will be taken via debit or credit card.
Alternatively, download and complete the appropriate application form below:
Completed applications together with any proofing documents (photocopies acceptable) can be emailed to

Permits will be posted via 2nd class mail. Refunds will not be issued as the initial costs are administrative fees for the issue of the permit.
Please make sure you include the appropriate remittance and relevant documents (photocopies accepted). If you are emailing the application form etc, you will need to post the required fee and your application will
NOT be process until this has been received. We can no longer take payment over the telephone.
For postal applications, we can accept payment by
cheques and postal orders only which should be made payable to:
NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL. To pay using a debit or credit card, please apply using the online form.
