Northamptonshire County Council is searching for a new star to feature on a number of council information posters.
The ‘Be a Star’ competition has been designed to find out what the county council’s services have done for you. People who wish to enter are simply being asked to complete the sentence ‘My county council...’ in no more than twelve words.
The competition is inviting people to show how they use council services and is open to all people in the county, including employees.
Winners will have their photograph and statement printed on a set of posters that will be distributed over the next 12 months. The posters are categorised into a number of different areas including education and learning, fire and public safety and adult social care.
The posters will feature in a range of areas including libraries, community centres, country parks and schools and hope to encourage more people in the county to use council services.
Cabinet Member for Customers and Communities, Cllr Andre Gonzalea De Savage said: “I am looking forward to receiving entries for this competition because we truly value what our customers have to say about local services, it is also a way for local people to shine and get more involved with their county council.”
The Competition can be entered online
