A new weekly job club will have its first session at Wellingborough library this week (Friday 15th June).
The county council is working in partnership with the Mallows Company to help support local people back to work during these difficult economic times, by delivering job support and training in libraries.
The job club is chance for people to talk to an advisor about finding a job, careers advice and how to write a CV as well as general support with skills, training and employment.
Councillor Heather Smith, cabinet member for customers services said: “As a county council we are working to find ways to support people during these difficult financial times and libraries have a vital role to play in this. Why not drop into the new weekly job club in Wellingborough and talk to one of the advisors."
The Wellingborough Library job club will take place on Fridays from 10am to 1pm, starting from 15th June.
Computers are free to use at the library on a Friday.
