New Year, new you: make a change with your local library

Northamptonshire Libraries has today launched its inaugural ‘Make a Change’ week – a series of health and wellbeing events and activities running from 9–13 January.

The week will include a range of free support services and information displays, including weight management advice, information on Adult Learning courses and stop smoking support, all designed to help people make – or keep – their New Year’s resolutions.

What's on

Events and displays, which will vary from each library on each day, will include:

  • Free stop smoking support
  • Advice on alcohol intake
  • Weight management support
  • Employment and self-employment advice
  • New business support
  • Adult Learning information, including new courses available
  • A range of health and wellbeing books

You can also book an appointment with a First for Wellbeing advisor at your local library at various times throughout the week.
