Service description:
IPSEA offer free and independent legally-based information, advice, and support to help you get the right education for children / young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). They also provide training on the SEND legal framework. Services include:

•  Free Online Resources
    – What are special educational needs?
    – How should the local authority help?
    – How should your nursery, school or college help?
    – Education, Health and Care plans
    – Choosing a school or college
    – Transport to school or college
    – Exclusion from school
    – Young people (aged 16-25)
    – Model letters
    – SEN and disability law
    – Making a complaint or challenging a decision
    – Health and social care
    – Do you still have a Statement of SEN?

•  Advice Line (Phone appointments to be booked online).

•  Tribunal Helpline (Phone appointments must be booked online).

•  Tribunal Support Service (accessed via the Tribunal Helpline).

•  Information Service
•  Request information online, and IPSEA will signpost you to the correct online resource.

• Face-to-Face-Advice

•  Free sessions for parents of children / young people with SEND (aged 0-25).
