The British Deaf Association (BDA) is the UK’s leading membership organisation and registered charity run by deaf people for deaf people. The BDA delivers a range of services to achieve its aims of empowering deaf people to overcome difficulties that they face on a daily basis.

Activities include:

• Advocacy work
• Deaf Roots & Pride
• BSL Charter
• Deaf and BSL Awareness
• Capacity building
• Policy work
• Information provision

BDA offer "Deaf Roots and Pride" that provides mentoring support from Deaf role models and group activities for deaf children and young people aged between 8 and 20. See the website for more information.
