Service description:
Next Generation Text (NGT) is an Ofcom-regulated service run by BT on behalf of all UK landline and mobile phone providers. It helps you communicate in English over the phone, whether you're hard of hearing, deaf, or speech-impaired. You don't need any special equipment. Conversations will be easy to manage and relaxed. You will still be able to make calls with your textphone, so there's no need to worry about changing it.

•  Download the NGT Lite App
Download the NGT Lite app to enjoy fast, natural conversations with anyone you want to talk to.

•  Choose Your Device
By simply downloading the app and linking it to your phone number, you can use the text relay service on your smartphone, tablet or PC.

•  Relay Assistant
Use the confidential text relay service and a Relay Assistant will speak (or type) what you're saying to the other person.

•  Type Direct
If the other person is also using the app or a textphone, you can type to them directly (bypassing the Relay Assistant).
