Diabetes UK supports those living with diabetes, and works to prevent Type 2 diabetes. They:

• Provide information, advice, and support to help people manage their diabetes effectively and confidently

• Campaign with and for people with diabetes to improve the quality of care across the UK’s health services

• Are the UK’s largest charitable funder of diabetes research

• Work to halt the rising number of people diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes by encouraging early diagnosis and promoting lifestyle changes

• Are committed to communicating about diabetes to people from black, Asian and other minority ethnic groups

• Share knowledge with a network of professional members and diabetes specialists
