Service description:
The ability to communicate is fundamental to a basic quality of life, yet for many people effective communication is difficult because of a physical impairment, language disorder or learning disability. The ACE Centre work with people of all ages who face such challenges.

The ACE Centre specialise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT), with core services that include:

• Assessments
• Training
• Resources
• Advice (Freephone Advice Line: 0800 080 3115)

They also carry out project and consultancy work for local and central statutory services.
