Autism East Midlands provides specialist support and advice for Northamptonshire’s autism community. They run a number of youth groups, community and activity days for children and young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). See the separate listing for each club.
They are also an information, advice and guidance team who are available on a free helpline (0808 808 9090) or via email
and social media, to support people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or their families.

Children and Young People’s Service:
Flexible breaks give children and young people affected by autism the opportunity to access some great activities. These activities take place after school and during most school holidays as well as occasional half terms and weekends. Activities include:
- Senior Youth Clubs
- Junior Youth Clubs
- Weekend Group
- 18-25 Group
- Trips across the year
- Befriending service
No referral is necessary to access the service however if a child wishes to attend one of the groups, an admission form and a One Page Profile needs to be completed and returned to Autism East Midlands. These can be downloaded from their website or requested by calling 01604 239404.
