Service description:
Tax credits give you financial help if you have a low income. They are currently being phased out and replaced by Universal Credit. This means you cannot claim Tax Credits if you’re already claiming Universal Credit.

There are two types of Tax Credit. Child Tax Credit (CTC) helps people on low incomes with the costs of raising a child. Working Tax Credit (WTC) tops up your earnings if you work and you’re on a low income. Both types can include additional amounts for disabilities.
