Moodswings is a unique Manchester-based charity providing intense support to people with mood disorders and their friends and families. Their approach focuses on recovery, and the charity does not encourage the use of non-evidence based therapies or medicines. They run:

• A six-week Training Course called PALS (People, Activities, Learning, and Sharing)

Workshops on topics such as anxiety management, self-esteem, assertiveness, sleep, anger management, management of psychosis, and mood management

• A Helpline staffed by volunteers who can provide information, advice, and support on a range of mental health issues. Call 0161 832 37 36 (Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm) or email info@moodswings.org.uk
