Are you interested in joining a parent steering group to discuss issues happening in Northamptonshire for deaf and hearing impaired children?
Northamptonshire parent partnership service put parents at the centre of developing family friendly services by supporting them to be representatives on local Children's Hearing Services Working Groups (CHSWGs).
The CHSWGs, based in local authority areas, ensure that all services designed to support deaf children and their families work in a co-coordinated way. Each group includes representatives from health, social services, education, the local voluntary sector, and crucially, parents of deaf children who contribute a unique perspective.
The Northamptonshire CHSWG meets 3 times a year and moves the venue of the meeting between Northampton and Kettering. It is normally held on a Wednesday Morning 10-12pm. Please contact the Chairperson for further information.
