Service description:
The Hillcrest RDA provides therapeutic horse riding for adults with special educational needs and disabilities in the Daventry region. Riding can be particularly beneficial to people who have profound and multiple learning difficulties because it is multi-sensory experience. It can help with communication and social skills, build confidence, and awareness of others.

Located on the Northamptonshire/Warwickshire border, the group currently hires six horses/ponies for two sessions a week, with the support of four instructors and around twenty volunteers.

Please note: the Hillcrest RDA group is a registered charity (No. 1073604) run by volunteers, and therefore relies on donations.
