The Sea Cadets are the number one youth charity based on Britain's Senior Service - the Royal Navy. Rushden Division's action packed programme includes boating, sailing, canoeing, sports and adventure training. You'll make new friends and be part of a great team.
What do Rushden Sea Cadets aim to do?
Give you the best fun you've ever had - with a serious side too. Along the way you'll learn life skills from cookery to computers, engineering, navigation and the art of seamanship. Much of training is practical and on the water in boats!
Special Educational Needs
All units will do their best to accommodate any children with special needs. The unit will take cadets on board with special needs subject to the restrictions bounding the individuals personal safety and the safety of others. Please speak to the Commanding Officer if you have a child that requires special attention.
The unit has cadets with learning difficulties, ADHD and other disorders. The unit requests that any special requirements are made clear on the cadets joining form SCC Form P10 and on the SCCT1 should the cadet participate in activities outside of the unit.
