Service description:

There are a number of parks and playgrounds within Brackley.

  • St. James' Lake offers five acres of wildlife and scenery. Adults and children alike enjoy walking, running, exercising dogs, feeding the ducks and geese and having a picnic in the park. There is also a selection of outside gym equipment suitable for children and adults over 14 years. There is also a an active fishing club (Brackley & District Angling Club) operating at the lake, and permits are available locally.
    St. James' Lake is fully accessible.
  • The Town Park on Brackley High Street is a walled greenspace with trees and picnic benches, which offers play equipment suitable for children aged 0-12 adjacent to the Old Fire Station Community Room and Café.
  • In addition, Brackley Town Council own, manage and maintain 7 play areas within the town including Poppyfields Central Park, off Poppyfields Way, with green space, play and exercise equipment suitable for all ages.
