Service description:
The Daventry Specialist Youth Service (PMLD) is for children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

Short breaks aim to benefit children and young people with disabilities and complex health needs. They're an opportunity to make new friends and enjoy experiences in a safe environment whilst enhancing personal and social development. They also give parents and carers a valuable short break from their caring responsibilities.

Runs every Saturday during term time, 10am-3pm.

Action for Children also run a school holiday club for 2 days a week during each half term and Easter holidays, as well as during 4 weeks of the summer holidays. For information about holiday clubs, please see the Local Offer What's On Page.

These clubs are classed as a 'Short Break,' and is currently being commissioned by Northamptonshire County Council.
