Service description:
Action for Children run various disability groups across the Northamptonshire. They offer fun activities in a safe environment for children and young people to come along while parents have some respite. The groups are designed for children aged 5-17 years who have learning disabilities.

Activities include bowling, messy play, cooking, sensory Play, and outdoor play. The clubs also welcome visits from children’s entertainers, slime-making and small farms.

Action for Children will complete an assessment to ensure each child’s needs are being met appropriately.

These groups are in the process of being set up. We understand times and days will be confirmed shortly.

These groups are classed as 'Short Breaks,' and are currently being commissioned by Northamptonshire County Council.

£10 per session

8 years - 17 years, 11 months
